Waste Management
U.E.S. works with waste generators to maintain compliance with all Federal, State, and Department of Transportation rules and regulations. The disposal and management of both hazardous and nonhazardous waste must be a top priority for waste generators. The penalties for noncompliance can be devastating for waste generators both in financial and reputation terms. U.E.S. specializes in working with generators to ensure that waste is being properly labeled, stored, profiled, and manifested. We also are there to assist in the post shipment management of maintaining paperwork and ensuring final signed off manifests are received in a timely manor. U.E.S. can either work closely with Environmental Health and Safety managers of large organizations, or we can help fill the gap for small generators. · Containerized Waste - Waste that is stored and shipped in 5 gallon to 85 gallon drums, totes, pallets, or cubic yard containers. U.E.S. provides labels, placards, and manifests for storing and shipping containerized waste. The containers themselves can also be acquired through U.E.S. · Bulk Waste - Waste that is shipped in roll off bins, vacuum trucks, and end dumps. U.E.S. has bulk waste capabilities in all those areas. · Lab Packing - Packaging of smaller items (5 gallons or less) into D.O.T. compliant larger containers in a compatible manor. Lab packing is a specialty of U.E.S., and we will handle the entire process of taking the initial inventory, packaging, profiling, manifesting, and shipping the material. Expired chemicals found in school science laboratories, R & D laboratories, manufacturing plants, and in plant closures are all common examples of lab packed waste. · Emergency Response- 24 hours a day 365 days a year access to experienced professionals who understand the sense of urgency and attention to detail that a spill or release requires |
